CHILDREN IN NEED
Friday 18th November
All children dressed up as a famous person; the school was full of film, TV, sports and music stars! Winners from each class were picked: Winston Churchill in Class 6, Princess Leia in Class Five, in Class Four was Harry Hill, Class Three was Sharpay, Class Two Tin was man and in Class One was Harry Potter.
We also used 1 and 2 p coins to fill up a Pudsey poster and see how many times we could cover it. Class five covered the whole of the poster!
Finally had the chance to name a teddy. The name was drawn out of the hat and then the winner got to keep the newly named teddy and his birth certificate. I hope Mr Bear is behaving himself!
Through these activities we raised an excellent total of £206.97 for this worthwhile cause.

14th October 2011
Today our School councillors went to Long Sutton Primary School to meet with other School Councils from our area.
During the day, we took part in different team work activities: tower building and group dance choreography. We really enjoyed Just Dance 2 as our warm up too!
We learnt alot from our day:
"There's no need to be nervous about meeting people, it is fun!" Jamie
"If John Hayes wasn't an MP he would have liked to have been a poet or a lawyer. He even said he would have liked to have been The Pope!" Francis
"I never knew that there were so many MPs- 650!" Joe
"It's about having fun, not about the winning" Thomas and Robyn.
"I learnt all about working as a team" Oliver
"Dancing was hard but I found that practice makes perfect!" Karl and Izzy.
"Sometimes you have to do things that are hard but challenges are good" Lily
"Sometimes you don't always want to do things but give it a go!" James
There was also a lot of debate about who was the best dancer!
